** Why the budgets are based on the number of words and not on the number of pages?
Charges by number of pages are inaccurate and very unfair for the client, since some pages have photographs, graphics, etcetera, and very little text content; there is not a standard about page sizes; and most of the times, only the pages of the finished translation are counted.
Charges by number of words have many advantages, all of them for the client.
- The number of words is counted from the original text; therefore, our clients can easily know how many words their texts have.
- Aspects like the font size, the format of the sheets or simply the size of the finished project do not interfere in the final result.
- The cost budgeted from the beginning will be exactly the same at the end of the project
** Why is there not only one rate for all the offered services?
Prices depend on variations that are unique for each project. From the simplest project to the most complex one, particular characteristics would make impossible to generalize a rate.
